This project is based around recognizing hidden/underlying values presented in commercial media. The class had to show how existing cultural norms are most likely to be in commercials. We also had to include certain tools the commercial was using to persuade us.
This video is a recreation of the Dove video. It is a representation of how our society uses beauty to impress others, even if it lowers your confidence and self esteem. So many people in society always try to do their best to be someone their not by editing themselves and acting differently online via instagram, twitter, and other social platforms. Everyone believes that they need to be someone else to fit into the social norm that society has made for people.
